Application for CBC Membership

Once an application is received, normally after three attendances, the new member’s applcation is put to our members at a closed meeting, and a ballot taken. A majority of members attending is required to approve a new member.

Cost of CBC Membership – ONLY £100 per year

Under the present rules, there is an annual membership fee of £100.
Members are also required to pay for their full english breakfast. – regular payment for breakfast is requested by monthly standing order of £30.

Responsibilities of Membership

Members are expected to attend meetings regularly in order to maintain the success of the Club, or to provide a substitute if they are going to be absent unavoidably.

Members are also encouraged to introduce new members (see our visitors section for more information), and to look for opportunities for business introductions to fellow members, wherever possible.

Visitors are welcome at all CBC meetings, either formally introduced through an existing member or simply by attending on any Thursday. If you are thinking of attending, please contact us beforehand to ensure that arrangements can be made for your welcome.

Visitors are encouraged to attend three times before deciding whether to apply for membership.
