CBC in Stockport remains a strong networking group

CBC, a business networking group based in Stockport, has reached a total of £334,575 worth of business referred in 12 months.

With 36 business members and growing, CBC is arguably one of the most successful, independent breakfast networking clubs in the whole of Stockport and South Manchester.

Mary Gibbons, Chair comments on CBC success: “It’s a testament to our members and the Committee that we can boast this great achievement. All work very hard get to know one anothers business and as a consiquence are confidently able to refer business to each other.”

Linda Hayward, who will take over the Chair position from Mary in July 2009 explained why she believes CBC has become such a success:

“Our friendly, informal, yet professional style is very important to us. All visitors to CBC comment on the warm welcome they receive and the friendship that is so evident amongst our membership. This together with the fact that we are none profit making, actively market our membership and we put alot back into our community makes CBC unique”.
