CBC Members collection for Wood Street Mission

Spire Healthcare in Whalley Range have chosen Wood Street Mission as their nominated charity this year. CBC Chairman Jon Becker invited Hospital Director Joanna Wallace to address the breakfast meeting on 10th March 2011
Joanna explained about the wonderful work done by Wood Street Mission:-
The charity helps families in the Manchester and Salford areas.
Practical help is in the form of good quality second hand clothing, bedding and most items of baby equipment.
They also provide families with toy and food parcels at Christmas time and Easter Eggs at Easter.

At the following CBC meeting on 17th March, members brought in a vast array of items for the Easter collection. Clive Tattersall delivered all of the parcels to Whalley Range.

Spire have since expressed their thanks to CBC for the “amazing response” and said that WSM are absolutely thrilled!
